Outside of work, I like to play the guitar, fly the airplain, go skiing and ice skating, and hiking. I also played guitar in the worship team at Redemmer church at Niles, Michigan when I was a PhD student. Here are some videos of me playing guitar in the worship team and flying airplain:

Pilot Training

I took the fly lesson during my PhD. Here is the photo that I took in Fall 2025 when I went out to practice some maneuvering. I’m still a student pilot because I was too busy to finish the license.
